Dawn of Day
I took a few days in the Eastern Sierra last week taking photos of fall color in the mountains. This shot was taken just before sunrise at a lake with an elevation over 9,000 feet. What you don't see in the photo is the other 30 or so photographers lined up on the shore. I had to cross the outlet stream and hike along the distant shore to find a spot to set my camera. It was a Saturday morning. I returned on Monday and Tuesday morning to find only handful of photographers. Bonus: met some nice people!
