2007 Lakes Basin

July 2007
- This was the most ambitious backpack trip I have experienced. This trip took John Dalbey and I over 6 mountain passes above 12,000 in 8 days. Several of these passes were off trail and two were considered class 3 climbs. More than half of the trip was spent hiking cross-country. Our lowest elevation was around 8,000 feet and the high above 13,000 feet.
