Stone Wall

This is the longest Mani Wall in Nepal. All along the wall are Mani stones. These walls should be passed from the left side, the clockwise direction in which the earth and the universe revolve, according to Buddhist doctrine.

I asked this woman if this was Yak wool. She showed me a little dark-colored yak wool, but told me the white wool was from wild sheep.

If we found an open door, we often poked our head in. We would walk in if we felt welcome.
