Trail to Samar
The next day we were on this spectacular trail to Samar.
Viewpoint
Pramod and I dropped down into the deep canyon to visit Chungsi Cave Monastery. Sylvia and Chandra took the high route and met us on the other side of the canyon.

When we got to the lodge I saw this woman balling yarn at the window of the dining area. She allowed me to take several pictures. I asked her name in Nepali.. It sounded like she said, "Tree." Later I learning it was Chhirring.

Back to School
In the morning, we visited the boarding school as children were preparing for the day's classes. When they saw myself and my friends they quickly picked up pens and opened books as if they had been studying the whole time.

We sat in the kitchen of the lodge in the village of Tsarang drinking tea with a few local folks.

The passeways led just inside the face of the cliff, with many windows along the way.
Walls
Why so many walls? My guess is that it keeps the animals away from chewing the bark of the trees. This is the road between Lo Mantang and Choser in Nepal.
