Day 7 Tsarang
We took the long way to our destination today and it was a great day. Most days have been hazy and the snowy peaks barely visible. This morning was clear and the views were stunning. We hiked through an area of red rock cliffs with more meditation caves. We passed through a small village of Dhakmar, meeting some of the villagers. We had lunch at Ghar Gompa, a Tibetan monastery that was built 1300 years ago. We arrived in Tsarang late in the day and met the family that are our hosts for the night. I really enjoyed talking with them. We also visited another monastery in this village.
