Wow! I'd been waiting for a cloudy day. When it finally came, I went out to the local mountains for a walk in the forest. I didn't get very far when the clouds lowered into the forest. The clouds were rolling in from the coast, butting against the mountains and sifting in and out of the forest.

Along the Misty Trail
I went for a walk on the Boucher Trail on Palomar Mountain the other day. I am not much of one to go with holiday themes, but this photo jumps out as being appropriate for Halloween. Clouds rolled in and out of the forest creating a dark and spooky atmosphere. The scene changed from moment to moment. The sun even broke through at times. I was in photographer heaven!
