We got caught in an autumn snow storm while driving over the mountain between Silverton and Ouray, Colorado.

This was taken outside of camp on the first night on the Cordillera Huayhuash trek back at the end of May this year. After settling in to camp I wandered up the valley around this peaceful creek. The following night was the coldest of the trip, as low as 10 F.
