La Jolla Blues
Fishermen in Mist
At the start of the our hike this day, we walked around Poway Lake which was socked in with fog. A few minutes later the fog shifted and lifted.
Sailing into the Sun
A lone sailboat rests on the horizon.
A lone sailboat glides across the horizon. This location is close to my home, so has been one of my favorite places to visit at sunset this year.
Sand & Sun
Just a Dream
Sunset at the Pier
I had been waiting for days for high clouds on the coast to add color to the sunset. This day I got what I was waiting for.
I forgot my tripod which freed me up to walk around and explore more composition options as the light in the sky changed quickly.
The tide pools are lit by the setting sun at a beach close to my home.
Hues of Blues
I discovered the magic that time (long exposure) can bring to a photo with this shot. The reflecting colors helped a lot too.
Path to Infinity
Every low tide reveals different treasures.
By the Sea
It was fun exploring the coast for exposed rocks at low tide.
The waves come and go. One is about to pound. Another is withdrawing.
